Village Of Waugh Chapel Wins ABC Award

The Martin designed Waugh Chapel South won an Award of Excellence from Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) Baltimore Chapter in the category of GC New Project Over $10 Million. Waugh Chapel South is a mixed-use Towne Centre with 650,000 SF of retail, 120,000 SF of office, and 300 rental apartments. Congratulations to all involved in the award-winning project!

LEED Home Silver Achieved

The Whispering Hills community is part of an 85 acre eco-friendly community in Ocean County’s Barnegat Township, New Jersey. The community features 107 upscale townhomes in addition to single family homes and apartments.  Whispering Hills townhomes are designed to achieve a LEED for Homes Silver designation.  All models are 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath ranging from 1900 to 2100 square feet.  Principal James Riviello designed and managed this award winning community.

BOZZUTO  PRESENTS AWARD AT PROJECT COMPLETION  DINNER

Dan McCauley, (left) Principal at the Martin Architectural Group was honored to receive an award and project photograph from Bozzuto Construction for the recently completed, and highly successful Beacon at Waugh Chapel.  The presenters were Bozzuto Construction President, Mike Schlegel (right) and project Superintendent, Joe Russell (center).  The Martin Architectural Group received the recognition during the project completion dinner hosted by Bozzuto.


The Towne Centre at Waugh Chapel is a mixed use community anchored by Wegemans, Target, and Regal Cinemas planned by The Martin Architectural Group.

OPENING FALL OF 2014 LAUREL  TOWNE  CENTRE

Martin Architectural designed and master planned the new Laurel Towne Centre in Maryland, a neighbor to Washington DC. The demolition of the Laurel Mall is being replaced with a vibrant mixed use center anchored with a Harris Teeter grocery store and a Regal sixteen-plex cinema. The development will have  450 market rate apartments and many fast casual restaurants. The center is an example of our  placemaking expertise. Principals Ron Seiboth and Drew Romanic created this pedestrian friendly community.

2500 UNIT MELFORD COMMUNITY IN MARYLAND

Martin Architectural receives conceptual site plan approval for the 2500 unit community of Melford in Bowie Maryland developed by St John Properties of Baltimore. The site is located at the intersection of route 50 and route 301 in Prince Georges county Maryland , 15 minutes from DC. The plan includes residential , retail, hotels , offices and seniors assited  living .  The proposed development is 116 acres on an over 430-acre site.
The community will incorporate about three acres of pocket parks and over three
miles of trails and include an outdoor ampitheatre overlooking a pond. The community was previously awarded a gold award for the on the boards awards by Professional Builer Magazine. For further details about this community contact principal Dan McCauley.
