With a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Drexel University and over 20 years of professional practice, Drew assumes direct responsibility at The Martin Architectural Group for managing the production of construction documentation with recent emphasis on a spectrum of retail and mixed-use commissions from grocery- anchored strip fit-outs to over all master planning and design of regional lifestyle centers. For projects under his supervision, Drew also assumes a role in the Management of CAD Operations, coordination and scheduling of Architectural and Planning operations, and quality control relative to code compliance. During
Construction Administration phase services, he oversees project construction, job meetings, project accounting, shop drawing and change order review, and coordination of scheduling between owners’ representatives and multiple prime contractors.
His design and project management portfolio with The Martin Architectural Group alone includes the much publicized, highly successful partial demolition and redevelopment of Hunt Valley (MD) Town Center; McHenry Row, a mixed-use revitalization of a waterfront community (Baltimore, MD), the office/retail mixeduse
South River Colony Town Center (Annapolis, MD); the Village at Waugh Chapel (Gambrills, MD); and the build-to-suit commercial components of Water’s Edge Business Park (Bel Air, MD).
Andy is a principal of The Martin Architectural Group and Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Florida office. As a registered architect and planner in numerous states throughout the Eastern US, he possesses a broad and thorough technical knowledge of design and building construction, as well as the functional elements of land planning and environmental analysis as they apply to product design. In addition, he has extensive expertise in the preparation of Master Plans, Planned Unit Developments, Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), and residential architecture of all kinds. His clientele is comprised of some of the most notable names,both national and local to Florida, in the residential development industry.
Prior to joining The Martin Architectural Group, Andy served as the President and the founding member of Sullivan Associates, which was established in 1973. As a specialist in multifamily and residential design, he has over 300,000 units in his portfolio. In addition, he was the Architect-of-Record for over 25 million SF of office/commercial space, over 90 golf club communities, and $100 million worth of criminal justice projects, and he has served as municipal or public planner for numerous municipalities and school districts. He holds both a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Master degree in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
As a managing principal of the firm’s staff, Jim leads the senior project management team responsible for construction documents and services. He prepares the firm’s service proposals; develops project work plans, schedules, scope of work, and fees; and remains involved through contract negotiation, performance of work, and project close-out. Having spent his entire career with The Martin Architectural Group, he has developed long time professional relationships with many of the firm’s largest clients, which have proven invaluable for the development of Jim’s expansive architectural and management acumen. Currently, he is the principal-in-charge of projects ranging from multi-family stacked flats to high-rise condominiums over retail, high-density townhomes, attached and detached single-family homes, and LEED-certified garden apartments and townhomes.
He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Temple University in 1989, and first became licensed in Pennsylvania in 1994. He additionally holds licenses in eight other states along the eastern seaboard, and is LEED AP accredited. In addition to actively participating with the National Association of Homebuilders and the United States Green Building Council, he has spoken at trade shows and participated in design workshops, responsibly addressing the latest trends in the industry.
As a Principal of the firm for the past 12 years, Tim is involved in programming and concept design, and remains involved through performance of work and project close-out. His portfolio with The Martin Architectural Group includes Washington Grande (Bergen County, NJ), recipient of NAHB’s Platinum Award for Best Active Adult Community; the retirement communities of Tide Pointe on Hilton Head Island (SC) and Asbury on Solomons Island (MD); the mixed-use facilities of Port Imperial North (West New York, NJ); the highly publicized and anticipated mid-rise North Beach redevelopment (Asbury Park, NJ); and the 100-acre Traditional Neighborhood Development Field of Dreams at Wagner Farms (Bethlehem, PA).
Tim earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute in
Brooklyn, New York. Registered to practice architecture in 28 states, he brings a vast knowledge of construction systems and technologies, intervention methodologies, program and project planning, and management and evaluation to the firm and its ventures.
Mike is a principal and managing partner of The Martin Architectural Group’s Newtown, Pennsylvania office. With over 20 years experience, Mike has compiled an extensive portfolio of work in the assisted living, mid- and high-rise residential, retail, municipal, and commercial markets, and contributed significantly to the growth of the firm. Mike’s portfolio of work at The Martin Architectural Group includes the redevelopment of various brownfield sites including the multi-family residential projects of Port Imperial North (West New York, NJ), North Beach at Asbury Park (NJ), and the LEED-certified Alexan at Bayonne (NJ).
Mike began his architectural studies at Arizona State University and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Drexel University. His responsibilities include client management and business development,
as well as establishing fees, proposals, schedules, and contracts for company projects while monitoring their development through the design and construction documentation, and construction administration phases. He brings leadership and experience to the Newtown office and successfully manages projects from conception through construction administration. In addition to maintaining his professional registration, Mike is a member of NAHB’s 50+ and Multi-Family Housing Councils, the Congress for New Urbanism, and the Urban Land Institute.
With a Master of Architecture degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, 20 years of practice, and professional registration in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, Peter assumes an active role in not only supervising projects, but also in firm management and business development. As a Principal at The
Martin Architectural Group, he is responsible for forging strong relationships with clients, remaining fully involved with his projects from their inception through construction.
His portfolio includes the following multi-family communities: Primera condominium building, a component of the prominent master-planned, mixed-use Annapolis Towne Centre (Parole, MD); the transitoriented
Avera Station development (Fairfax, VA); the award-winning clubhouse design for Central Parke at Victoria Falls (Laurel, MD); and the Highlands, Bluffs, and Clubhouse at Greenspring Quarry (Baltimore, MD). Peter also has prior experience with the design of assisted living facilities.
With degrees from Harvard College and the University of Pennsylvania, and with planning and design skills cultivated with architectural giants Hellmuth Obata & Kassabaum and Ewing Cole, Justin brings 15 years of experience to the clients of The Martin Architectural Group. In addition to his associate principal responsibilities, he acts as a main point-of-contact for clients and as one of the key planners and designers with a focus on mixed-use and transit-oriented development within the Baltimore-Washington corridor and Philadelphia region.
He maintains membership in the International Council of Shopping Centers, Maryland and Northern Virginia Building Industry Associations, Urban Land Institute, Congress for New Urbanism, and United States Green Building Council. Furthermore, Justin contributes as a Program Chair for the ULI Urban Marketplace conference and actively participates with the AIA Philadelphia Urban Design Committee and Zoning Advisory Subcommittee, the ULI National Public/Private Partnership Council, and the ULI Philadelphia Public Affairs Committee. Justin represents the firm at numerous industry events nationwide and has recently spoken at various conferences.
Chuck has been a Principal of The Martin Architectural Group for over 35 years witha concentration in mixed-use planning and architecture. A graduate of University of Utah’s five-year professional degree program with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, he is a member of the AIA and registered in 25 states. He also has completed graduate studies at the Wharton School of Real Estate Finance.
Chuck, a recipient of the AIA Gold Medal for Design, has been personally involved in the programming, planning, and architecture of millions of square feet of mixed-use commercial development across the country and specifically, within the Mid-Atlantic states. The client base for this work has included some of the largest regional and multi-market developers in the industry: Beazer Homes, Centex Homes,Greenberg Gibbons Commercial, K. Hovnanian, Petrie-Ross Ventures, Pulte Homes,Roseland Properties/Prudential, Sturbridge Homes, and Toll Brothers. The most recent mixed-use communities he has worked on includes: Annapolis Town Center at Parole (MD), Hunt Valley (MD) Town Center, and Waugh South (Crofton, MD).
