ALEXAN RIVERDALE

This high density multi-family project created a suburban living option for those commuting to New York City. The wooded surroundings and lower density residential area provided opportunities for creativity. By placing rental units over a podium of parking allowed the site to mostly remain free of unsightly surface parking. Smaller wings of residential facing green courtyards over the podium provided a more subtle massing with views of the neighboring open areas. The project featured an on-site clubhouse with lounge, fireplace, billiard room, media area, fitness facility, pool and outdoor fire pit. The one and two bedroom units ranged from 730 to 1,360 SF and included a variety of plan types.
