Our firm’s expertise and experience in nearly 50 mall repositioning projects provided the direct immediate knowledge on how to assess the Harrisburg Mall, PA. Several conceptual studies were done in conjunction with the ownership team to look at the long-term viability of the center along with options for transformational changes to a mixed use center. Studies included adding small amounts of out parcel retail and stand alone multi-family residential to a complete re-visioning of the entire mall. The re-visioning included de-malling of limited capacity retail to an open shopping center with entertainment and restaurant, strong retail, along with a 350 multi-family component.
